Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

AWANA is a mid-week discipleship club with an emphasis on scripture memorization.  During AWANA children have the opportunity to memorize and study important passages of scripture as well as have fun playing exciting games.  AWANA is divided into three segments:

Game Time - where the kids participate in fun and exciting games
Handbook Time - where the kids spend time memorizing and studying scripture
Council Time - where kids sing and hear a Bible message specifically for them.

We have three different AWANA Clubs:

Cubbies:  For three and four-year-olds.

Sparks:  For Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Truth and Training:  For 3rd through 6th grades.

The name AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."
