5A Bridge Class

We have had a great September! The children have cooked, learned Bible verses and stories, done many science experiments, learned songs, and just have been the sweetest kiddos I could have ever been blessed with! The highlight of our month was our walking trip to the Bentonville Public Library for story time where we heard some fun books about fall! October will be full of fun and learning as we expand our learning of God's Word and His beautiful creations!!

Chapel & Library News

September flew by and we learned about the B-i-b-l-e – God’s word. For all generations through history, what God has said He has put in this book – one book made up of two sections, the Old Testament and the New Testament, 66 specific books given to just over 40 writers over a period of about 1600 years.  That’s is some AMAZING facts about the Bible!  The Holy Spirit authored it all, put it all together in what we know as the Bible.

The month of October we are learning stories from the Bible one being the Widow’s offering. We will be showing others love and giving from the heart through a canned food drive we will be doing this month. We are encouraging the children to bring small change as an offering and or a box of macaroni and cheese or a canned food item such as Ravioli, or a vegetable (Green Beans, etc.). We will take the donated food items and with the offering that we receive from the children and buy more food items to be donated to a local ministry. In this lesson/ministry we are learning to love others and to give to others from the heart.
